The Desteni-Universe Writings and What They Mean To Me

THE "DESTENI-UNIVERSE" WRITINGS AND WHAT THEY MEAN TO ME

I discovered the other day that there had been posted at least two posts which indicated that the authors felt the material on the website "www.desteni-universe.co.za" which I had pointed out, was deceptive and negative, and " it is a gutter of blindness and deception that cannot even begin to comprehend the wealth of wonder, love and beauty that is our inheritance as spiritual beings."

Another writer wrote:
"I've browsed around that site and I have to say I find it most troubling. The entire site is fear and control based. Their main contention is this: we humans are created slaves and the white-light of consciousness that exists within each of us has been created by our slave masters (FALSE!!!) and everything that we hold to be true or beautiful is really just a construct to keep us in enslavement for the return of the Anunnaki slave masters.... This is disinformation from those that wish to keep us fear based, that wish to keep controlling us. Read it, by all means, but keep asking yourself this: does this material increase Love or Fear.
I for one reject it utterly. You decide for you."

In the face of these adverse reactions, I feel I should endeavour to explain in more detail why I have considered the Desteni material important and useful for our times; otherwise no-one will be prepared to give the time to a proper reading, and an opportunity will be lost, in my opinion.

At the outset, let me say that there is precious little that we believe of spiritual or other-dimensional matters that we can really conclusively prove, except to ourselves, by way and force of our own experiences - and even then, we have to admit that in some way we may have been mistaken, or missed some important facts. The complex and illusory world we live in, where many things are not what they seem, is extremely hard to "pin down" to absolute, iron-clad proofs that everyone will accept as true for them. For myself, I am not clairvoyant, nor am I a conscious astral traveller nor lucid dreamer, so all I have to go on with which to "sort the wheat from the chaff" is my own common sense and sixty or so years of spiritual search and training of various sorts. But I am as determined as the next man to seek my truth of being and do the necessary sorting.

I hope, therefore, that you will bear with me as I develop my discussion to greater depths. It may well be that the authors of the above criticisms have formed their view which differs from mine, because we have had different experiences and brought different backgrounds to the task of evaluating the material in question. I also suspect that a "browse" of the material is not enough to evaluate it properly; some of it is long-winded and not the easiest to read; other parts are much easier to understand. The writers of it admit that they are humans and will make mistakes, and that the process they describe has only just started upon Earth - it has apparently been going on for some time in the Dimensional worlds. So they are feeling their way, so to speak. I feel that my training as an Ascension student for a number of years recently has perhaps fitted me to understand the Desteni material more readily than would otherwise be the case, as there are certain "facts" or concepts that I gleaned there which cause the Desteni material and processes to make sense.

THE BASIC CONCEPTS OF THE DESTENI MATERIAL
Very briefly stated, the basic concepts are these: That the Annunaki ("astronauts" from space who landed in the Middle East region in search of gold to mine, and who are reputed to have taken over the planet, and created slave races to help them mine), did create slave races, and as the Annunaki were highly technological and advanced beings in their capabilities, they put in place systems of thought and feeling to ensure that their slaves did what they were required to do, and did not evolve to a state where they would rebel and throw off their yoke of slavery. And that these systems have been undiscovered until recently, and are by and large still in place.

However, a way has been discovered and is being developed by which these systems can be dismantled; but it requires tremendous discipline for an adult to do this, because by later in life the systems have been fed for so long and are well entrenched. The children coming into the world have been least exposed to these programming systems, and have the best chance of throwing them off; but they will need a great deal of help to do so, and those of the Dimensional worlds - the Heaven worlds - are now giving their all to stand beside each human embodied upon Earth to support them in this process, should they be prepared to take it on.

The process of freeing oneself from the programming systems is arduous, as we constantly feed the systems with our current thought and feeling patterns, and has to be done individually by each person, and can take a number of years at least. And those who do not do it whilst in embodiment will have it to face when they die here and enter the Dimensional worlds; but they will no longer have such an ability to change things as they had while here in the physical.

Finally, we have to stand up as "Who We Really Are" in equality and unity with everyone else, and recognise and put into action our responsibilities for the mess the world is currently in; because we created it by allowing our slavery, and have the responsibility to live our inner Essential truth each minute of our lives, to turn it around. Part of this involves applying forgiveness to ourselves and all that we feel does not reflect how we want our world to be - according to our Essence Selves - and immediately applying ourselves to correct within us these patterns as we become aware of them. The idea (unpalatable as it may sound) is that virtually all that we think we know, or have as habits of thought and feeling and living in today's society, cannot be trusted to be of our true, Essence Self, and has to be re-examined. And has to be given up if it gets in the way of our living in an aware, moment-to-moment presence of Who We Really Are as equal and one with all existance. We could give it all up, and still we would be HERE; we would still exist as our Essential Self. And yet this can be done whilst still in the physical - if we are prepared to persist in applying the process.

Well, as you can see, it is a tall order, and will demand a mighty effort, which the average person mainly interested in survival and the requirements of earning money, sex and a place in society will likely not be willing to give the time of day to.

WHAT CAN WE TAKE AS GIVEN?
Let us, then, discuss what we can bring to this evaluation that we can call "fact". First of all, what of these 'Annunaki' who are supposed to have started this off?

The Annunaki have been discovered in the history of the Sumerians and other civilisations of the Middle East, and documented by Zecharia Sitchin, an academic who was able to interpret the clay tablets and cylinders left by those people. He has written many books on the subject now (unfortunately I have not been able to obtain any of them immediately to read for this discussion; however, I have heard about them many times). Of course these beings and their doings are interpreted by Sitchin, and thus are not proven; although there is enough literature referring to them to make it a good probability. They also seem to have had a lot more astronomical knowledge that we had until recent years.

As more confirmation of the past presence of the Annunaki on the globe tens of thousands of years ago, they turned up in the researches of the Ascension School that I was attached to, and it was revealed that these Pleiadean astronauts did land here, did create more than one slave race, and did put in place powerful thought and feeling constructs anchored through the genetics, to keep them under control - and that when the Annunaki died or left for home (after a devastating nuclear war between two factions), nothing was done to remove the systems of control, which largely remain in place. They were built into the genetics, which were engineered from part Annunaki and part original inhabitants' DNA, and the white races of today are significantly of those lineages, although it is estimated that there are few on the planet who have not at least one Anu or Anu-Slave lineage in their genetic makeup. Therefore, we virtually all have the problem. In the ascension process, these lineages were dealt with by changing out one's DNA for Original Red ancestors' DNA by applied intention, through lengthy, diligent personal work.

Another "fact" that I think everyone will agree upon, is that the world civilisation as it is today is not working as we would like. We say we want peace, food and homes and education and a safe life for all; but it is not happening. Humans are not unified enough - neither with their kind, nor with the Nature Kingdoms which support us. And if it goes on as it has up till now, we are going to lose our planetary home's viability. We are doomed to extinction, unless we discover why this is the case, and how to tackle it - and then do it!

Another "fact" that there is considerable evidence for is that to turn this around one has to get to, and live actively from, one's root or core nature - the Presence of our Essential, Eternal, Unconditional Loving Self. There have been a handful of humans throughout recorded history who have actually demonstrated this - Jesus was one, Buddha was another. But look at what happened when the usual "systems-programming" consciousness stuck its nose into their example, and others twisted it around to suit themselves... The Systems consciousness of human habit is a stern adversary; it is not overcome lightly, and when threatened like that it takes action to recover itself. And even today, this is what we're up against... Love, as we ordinarily speak of it, does not have this unconditional quality - the "my neighbour is myself" kind of quality. Sometimes a bit shows momentarily in emergency situations, then it all lapses back to habitual behaviour.

There is also enough evidence to support the "fact" that Big Business in general cares more about the money it makes and the shareholders' dividends than about what this is doing to the environment and to the people involved. All this is part of these systems and their programming. It is insidious and virtually all-pervading.

AND THE CONCLUSION IS...
Ladies, gentlemen, I commend to you a thorough examination of the Desteni website material for a new and promising way to deal with our human situation - if we dare to - before it is too late. Herein is rooted the quoted "Fear" factor that was stated as a criticism; we are too afraid that we will lose everything if we do what seems to be required of us - to "give all you have to the poor, and follow Me", as Christ said. This type of requirement is still there facing us today; it hasn't gone away, and we still have not acted on it! When are we going to stand up and be counted? When will we individually take responsibility for bringing about the changes in our own living to facilitate those that we say we want to help bring about in the lives of the poor, the starving, the maltreated? And the time given us for doing this is drawing towards a close... remember the year 2012... I know people don't like being forced into things, and this is the fear and control factors that have been criticised - that the situation will soon be forced; but we have had enough time, the end of the cosmic cycle is in sight, and so far nothing much has changed. If we can realise that our human race has been tampered with and has gone awry, and is in danger that the Universe will consign us to the dust-bin of failed projects and move on without us, it is clear that we better do something to right ourselves before this takes place. Nobody is going to come and save us; it is UP TO US! We have to be prepared to drill down to the necessary awareness of our innermost being, and to follow its dictates in our daily lives - be the answer to the problem.

Let's not allow this opportunity to pass us by!
